Construction Safety (CS) Ltd provide an independent health and safety advisory service to the construction and allied industries, to assist companies – both retained and non-retained – with the implementation of a positive health and safety culture and fulfilment of duties placed on them by Health and Safety Legislation.
In accordance with The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, every organization is required to have access to competent health and safety advice. We can act in that role, and retained clients are entitled to use our company name and supporting information on tender submissions to demonstrate that they have access to health and safety support.

Health & Safety
Our consultants are registered on behalf of the company with the HSE under the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR). The aim of this register is to help businesses find advice on managing their general health and safety risks. The register is only open to those health and safety consultants who have met certain standards within their professional bodies.
Professional Fire Risk Assessors
We are professional Fire Risk Assessors. Holding membership of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) and registered to the Nationally Accredited Fire Risk Assessors Register (NAFRAR) and certificated to the BAFE Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment (SP205) scheme.
This scheme has been developed by BAFE with industry experts committed to providing quality guidance in relation to fire safety, primarily emphasizing the importance of fire risk assessments.
We undertake Fire Risk Assessments in a variety of properties – residential and commercial – to ensure the ‘Responsible Person’ is fulfilling their legal duties in relation to Fire Law and Legislation.
We advise and undertake Fire Door Inspections. Helping Responsible Persons meet their obligations under Fire Safety (England) Regs 2022.
Training – a range of accredited and certificated courses
We provide a range of accredited and certificated courses, including 1st Aid at Work, Emergency 1st Aid at Work. (See our training page for other available construction industry courses).
Our retained clients are entitled to a discount on training fees. This is offered as an incentive, to ensure that an appropriately trained and competent workforce is maintained. Courses can be held at our training centre, at your premises or on site.
